International  Symposium

Mark received kind assistance from the NSW Government to  participate in the International Sculpture Symposium held in British Columbia, Canada in 2002.  In  July he travelled to produce a public  sculpture which is being installed permanently in the Kamloops Aquatic Center.

The work titled 'free flow'  (pictured below) represents the similarity of   dynamic movement characteristic of  recreational pursuits (such as surfing and skiing). These independently spirited challenges are conducted  in the  beautiful natural environments of both Australia and Canada.
